Player profiles appear to have been updated. Not sure if this confirms our top 30 or not (Savelio is still there, I imagine we'll use his injury to our advantage where we can and swap him out of the top 30 for someone who can actually play this season.)

Top to bottom in alphabetical order: Alex Glenn, Andre Savelio, Andrew McCullough, Anthony Milford, Corey Oates, Darius Boyd, Gehamat Shibasaki, George Fai, Jack Bird, Jamayne Isaako, James Roberts, Jaydn Su'A, Joe Ofahengaue, Jonus Pearson, Jordan Kahu, Josh McGuire, Kodi Nikorima, Korbin Sims, Marion Seve, Matt Gillett, Matt Lodge, Mosese Pangai, Payne Haas, Salesi Funaki, Sam Scarlett, Sam Thaiday, Tevita Pangai Jr, Todd Murphy, Tom Opacic, Troy Dargan.

Seve seems to be clinging on to a spot somehow... and no carrigan?! And Fifita is obviously being gradually introduced despite the obvious talent and hype

The St George forums are pretty stoked with the pickup. I personally reckon he will partner Widdop really well.

Probably because Widdop can kick better, so Hunt won't have to. I think limiting his kicks will improve them. He may as well be playing 5/8th there imo

You don't have to have your 30 until June 30 and be 95% spent of your cap spent. Your top 24 was due end of last year.

He was excellent last year and has changed clubs this year again to Souths.
Why isn't he getting an opportunity by the broncos? And why is he changing clubs if he plays excellently at that club?

Wanted a move, to be with more Broncos. His call/Broncos.

Whose spot do you think he should have taken? Maybe replaced Moga at times you could have argued but that would be it.

Well unless he is injured (?) he could have got a shot in one of the trials. He's not even mentioned anymore. And whilst 22 is in no way, shape or form past it you would think a player of his juniors potential and in his position would have gotten a look more of a look in by now if he was a realistic chance to do so...

I don't think Seve has pushed his claims anywhere near enough. Not sure if he is injured tbh, I'm thinking he must be. Thing with him is I can only recall him ever getting really close to an nrl call up once against the warriors a couple of years ago iirc, and it's not like we haven't had injuries in positions he could have filled. Speaks volumes for me that we thought tom opacic was a better option despite having stuffed shoulders.

Is there any chance that Wayne was making Oates work hard to become a second rower knowing that he would bulk up, only to always know that he will stay on the wing? This would then make it even harder for defenders to stop him on his kick returns due to his increased frame and speed. This probably isn't the case as I feel Wayne is just letting Oates play his preferred position.
