Not sure if anyone else has mentioned it, but Milf should get a rap for his incredible toughness. The past two weeks he has dug deep into the line and been crunched on two occasions. Not sure who got him on Saturday but the hit left him reeling for a few seconds and then he was back at it. That hit on Saturday night was brutal. At least he knows his shoulder has healed 100%.

I still don't see why people have a problem with Milford learning to become a controlling half.

In a couple of years time when he matures more, all of that hard work is going to pay off. Sure, he isn't running the ball as much as did when he first arrived at the Broncos, but we need a controlling half.

He still can pick his moments better on when to run.

So after 4 years you want to add a few more for maybe a dominant half. I’d rather he play to his strengths, develop the other aspects on the side and when he is ready in his late 20s can grow into that sort of role. Don’t want to pay for a 6-10 million dollar apprenticeship indefinitely waiting for it to pay off. His kicking is going great but still far from having the passing, the vision or organisation. He’s going well but still not earning his price tag because Broncs structures don’t let him.

He hasn't spent the past 4 years learning to become a dominant half.

Now he is, and he is making progress. The guy is only 24. He hasn't even fully matured yet. The rest of that will come with maturity and experience.

We need more than just a runner. It's as simple as that.

Oates gave him a hospital ball and he got crunched.

I'm impressed with Milford, how he took all the shit and bashing in the media, and (I assume) used it as a motivator to toughen himself up and improve himself.

It's up to Ben Hunt to do the same now too, though I dunno if he can.

One of the best movie scenes of all time, there will be people who take it as a motivator and people who would sook it up.

How fucking random. I saw a shirt saying Coffee's for Closers so I googled where it was from like a few days ago and this scene popped up. Never heard of it before then.

He’s better than Munster who will soon be getting paid more than him. Not to mention shockingly overrated halves like Hunt and Taylor. I’m over the moon with his development.

Munster is hugely overrated. Half of what he does only works because he's got the best game manger in the game directing play and has Slater behind him so the defence can't number up on him easily. He will be a flop signing at a million dollars if any club is stupid enough to pay that. He's basically a Cody Walker with a lot of hype.

That's not to say I don't rate Munster, he's an excellent player, but he's nowhere near worth marquee money, he's worth 600-700k on the cap. Any more than that is overs.

Shhh. If the other clubs think the douche is worth that, let them pay more.

He is a quality player no doubt, but not marquee

Plus he looks like a douche

I have to disagree. I think Munster is the best running 5/8 in the comp. maybe his kicking game is pretty ordinary at the moment and needs a heap of work to be mentioned in the same breath as Milf's, but his running game is outstanding and will only get better. NSW knew this all too well during the origin serious and went to great trouble to shut him down. He'll only get better when he develops his kicking game, but I think Bellyache just wants him to concentrate on running for the time being.

I think Munster and Milf are pretty much equal at their best so far. Both can be the two best halves in the game.

I think Munster is great at running sideways.

I dunno, I've definitely seen enough from Munster to suggest that he's a fucking star half of the future. The thing about Cam Smith taking over the organising...well yeah, it's a factor, but if people think Milford can learn this year, why can't Munster too?
Smith was doing the same for a shitload of other halves too, including Cronk.

Smith never really played 1st receiver when Cronk was in the team. He is doing that quite a lot for the Storm this year in the attacking 20

True it appears he doesn't trust the halves to run the attack properly.

It'll only get worse for him next year when Billy's gone.... maybe that pressure and the realisation that he may not go out a winner in his last year (2019) could see him retire this year.

Which desire will come first for Cam going out a winner this year at the top or making it to 400 games next year???
