What score lines are we all predicting?

Wolfie: Bronx by 30, I assume.

It's by product of struggling too, when you're losing you look for answers, everyone says promote the kid so you do. Never works.

Storm are excellent at letting players develop.

Cronk 61 ISC games
Smith 28 ISC games
Munster 46 ISC games
Slater 23 ISC games
Inglis 24 ISC games

Hughes played 2015 at Townsville plus 45 NYC games at GC.
Papenhuyzen played 2018 at Sunshine Coast plus 13 NYC games at Tigers
Smith 16 ISC games and 44 NYC games for Cowboys
Olam 71 ISC games for Hunters and Falcons
Hynes 64 ISC games for Cutters and Falcons plus 50 NYC games for Manly

one of the truism of NRL football is; coaches LOVE a reclimation project.

Is Croft Walters reclimation project this year?

I wouldnt be suprised if he is.

Before that for me, who ever gets to 20 first will win.
I’m not so sure that is true for both teams. We blew a 18-0 lead against Manley last year.

Probably a good idea to leave Dearden in ISC till he builds some confidence then comes back into the side with some swagger, he is a still a kid and while it will probably make us weaker while we don't have him the upsides could be way better.

Right, so we have at least one Immortal, one who is the most prolific Premiership winner of the modern era, two other guys who are amongst the very best ever to have played their positions, and the youngest one is probably in the top few players in the game today and has most of his career still in front of him.

Yet all those guys had longer to develop in the Queensland Cup than Luke Walsh needs, or Tom Dearden needs. Honestly, when people throw up stupid suggestions like this about some random kid they really should be reminded that if Cameron Smith needed more than one season in Queensland Cup, then it's probably fair to say that unless this kid is going to be better than perhaps the greatest player of all time, he probably needs at least that much too.

Not sure if this has been mentioned elsewhere, but Isaako says he picked up an injury on Saturday night. Beats me why he stayed on the field if it was genuinely a problem:

“I need to step up more as a fullback. I was happy with my first half (against the Cowboys last Saturday night) but it’s an 80-minute game. Forty minutes to me personally isn’t good enough. I kinked my neck a bit which affected me in the second half. I need to get back to training hard and hopefully I put in a better performance in round one.”

Wayyy too much unproven youth all at once. We should have gone to market for some experienced heads in the prime of their career when we had the chance. Instead we backed over the hill scrubs like Boyd, Milford, Glenn and McC.
Pretty sure Boyd's retired. Oh, did you mean years ago. Pretty sure there were selection issues surrounding the 1989 side too, don't forget to be upset over that.

Yeah he copped a pretty mad accidental crusher tackle. Not sure how that made him drop the bomb earlier in the game or made him sit in the defensive line on the wrong side of the ruck leading to 2 identical lazy grubber tries though.

Halftime score:
Broncos - 20
Eels - 12

Full time score:
Broncos - 20
Eels - 56
This team finding 20 points against Parramatta, let alone 20 points in one half, seems incredibly optimistic.

It would not be out of the question for us to not crack 20 points in total until late in Round 2 or even some point in Round 3.

The thing that concerns me the most about the statement is the word "hopefully". I'm no coach whisperer but that gives me an idea of isaakos mindset these days. He used to be SO driven and determined to improve.

Take the 'hopefully I' out and it's where it should be.

If we score more points in the second half then Parra regardless if we lose, I'll be confident for this season.
