I wonder if Souths are thinking they stuffed out on two counts with letting Reyno walk but also Taaffe.

This side would right now be a contender:
1. Taaffe
2. Graham / someone until he is fit again
3. L.Mitchell
4. Wighton
5. Johnston
6. Walker
7. Reynolds
8. Tatola
9. Cook
10. S.Mitchell (he impressed me last night)
11. Koloamatagi
12. Arrow/someone until he is fit again
13. Murray

14. Havili
15. Burgess
16. Host/Moale
17. Host

Now given they don't have that option any more, I really think they would still benefit by Latrell going back to centre but not sure who should be their fullback. Also, their 7 is a massive issue, not sure what their answer is there - get desperate and give Gray a shot?

Wasn't their argument that they couldn't keep all four of Cook, Mitchell, Walker and Reynolds, and Reynolds ended up the odd man out? If they'd kept him you'd have to remove one of those three from the above - Walker, surely. Shift Wighton to five-eighth, perhaps.

On the Arthars dropped bomb last night... I swear there was a penalty last week for a player coming through and waving an arm at the contest purely to distract the catcher.

Is that just going to be another discretionary rule that only appears for game situations, because it could be argued that old mate last night was basically doing that exact same thing to Arthars

My biggest issue with last nights game, after sleeping on it, is how the refs and the bunker both missed the blatant cannonball on Carrigan, only to awared the Bunnies a penalty in the next set for some minor thing.

Utterly shits me when malicious potential injury causing foul play go's unnoticed until its too late to do anything other than put it on report.

Do better NRL.

Not according to Fox sports stats

I give him an assist for the quick hands in Vegas that put Jesse away , that in turn led to Walsh`s try . Herbie doesn`t pass in that situation and no try scored .

Because they are idiots. No other club in the NRL would ever entertain the idea of moving their best player out of his preferred position especially when he is only rising and rising every week and hasnt even looked like hitting his ceiling yet. To be honest, it was dumb by Bennett when he done it and he just fluked it that Lockyer could handle the move.
You're either trolling or know nothing of this actual situation.

The Piakura knuckle sandwich on Latrell too ?
Trell tried to milk it . Failed .Probably should have come off HIA after that academy award performance , but no foul play on .

Have you seen Taafe at fullback for the dogs? He is horrendous. Don't be fooled by the finals series where they made the grand final. His crowning moment was staying the **** out of the way and letting everyone else do the work. He is a utility at best

Crazy they missed it and put it on report 1 set later. Mind blowing. Billy was trying to point it and as it happened but it wasn't enough.

Patty isn't a pussy so he won't milk it. Need to do what some other teams do - basically run in and start pushing and shoving the markers to get into a scuffle to force the ref to stop play. The only way unfortunately.

I seriously thought Sutton left his whistle in the changing room at half time ... At least when we had the ball

Nah, you get up really slowly, and keep touching the part of you that got 'illegally' hit like you expect to have a four inch gash to the bone.

I’m sure the swinging arm from Illias into Arthur’s midriff was intentional in the hope he might have made Jesse drop the ball over the line. It certainly left Jesse winded for quite a bit too. Not a word was said about it though Despite it being shown from several angles during the put down. Bit of a sneaky dog shot as Arthur’s had no way of protecting himself at the time.

I would say based on two of our bench forwards performance tonight, willison should get a run surely. Perhaps kevy doesn't change a winning side. Boy piakura impressed me tonight. Such good footwork and just folded ***** in defence
I think they want to keep Willison fresh. It is a long season. Keep him developing and let Tapau get through some of the business end.

How about Cam Murray blindsiding Patty with a shot in the back after the kickoff? Could've just gone around but no, had to whack a guy from behind.

And he was the one doing the lifting in the dangerous tackle too. Dirty dog

Walker also had a bit of a dog moment when he came in when Riki (?) was on the ground so he could knee him in the head/back a little.
