The Raiders were reportedly prepared to offer him 900k.

He's too much of a mercenary to accept 700k
Maybe, it's hard to tell. Getting paid more while staying in SEQ is one thing, but having to live in Canberra is another level completely. It's so cold there water literally freezes in winter, the place is unfit for human habitation. I certainly wouldn't move there for a paltry 30% pay rise.

Not sure if the story of how he got caught driving unlicensed has been posted anywhere but it’s got to be the dumbest thing I have ever heard. Definitely better off without him by the sounds.

Pure speculation based on his record, but he's probably right. Once the press starts pushing these kind of angles, they don't usually end well:

Few more comfortable and overpaid jobs than politics for life after footy though and we know that kind if sell is right up Dave’s alley.

I dont take much notice of other clubs, but just off the top of my head in recent times we have had Payne Haas with multiple driving offences, Robati twice, Cobbo and Tesi Niu in the last few years. Whats going on with these blokes here?

He’s like a mix between Niu and TPJ.

Maybe so, but where's all the dickheads from the other clubs being pinged?

Sam Burgess aside.

You can't tell me all those young fucksticks from Penrith are squeaky clean, please.

Remember, it was only corn flour on the table with Munster and Smith.
