I'm wrapped to come through our first 4 games at 2 - 2. Yes we could have been 4 zip but we also could have been 1 - 3 .

I'm really looking forward to the chooks game in a couple of to test our d against their attack, that will give us a good indication on where we are.

All we hear is let's see how we go against this team or we're trying so it'll click soon against that team. The effort is there, we'll hit form soon. Milford will get fit next week. It's a pattern of excuses.

I'm happy to persist with Milford for the remainder of the season, purely because I don't think Marshall or Nikorima will be an upgrade. One thing I will not persist with is the price tag of $900,000. He's dreaming if he thinks he's worth that, my offer on the table would be a 2 year deal worth $600,000 per season.

Until he's capable of proving that he can put in 100% effort to the jersey on the field AND off the field every week, I can't see any scenario in which he's worth nearly $1m a season. He's more or less been an overweight Mitchell Moses for the last 20-25 games of his career.

And I can't believe you guys are saying things like "At least he's trying".. Get real, did you watch the game? Every time he touched the ball he either dropped it or completely ruined our momentum by being so fat and unfit that he can barely get up to play the ball..

The only thing wrong with that is it's guaranteed to see him leave. Halves are commanding overs based on potential because there are not enough to go around. Good luck for Milf ATM.

Look at the games. We were winning with no time left but still ballsed it up. Milf should have won it for us against the cowboys and he storm fluked a try. So we should be 4-0 easily.

Perhaps we are looking at it from different perspectives then mate, your right about the Cowboys game, Storm try was one of those arsey ones that in the end there wasn't much you could do about it. I was more looking at the quality of the opposition which in all fairness has been tougher then any other side in the comp so far.

The most pleasing aspect of tonight's performance is the fact they found themselves in a similar position as the past fortnight but in the death didn't panic.

Seriously well done to Jordan Kahu. History will most likely forget this victory, but his field goal maybe the birth of a new era for the Broncos. Whenever they've found themselves in this position, they've normally relied on their opposition to blow opportunity after opportunity to win it. In the 2015 Good Friday game, the Roosters had multiple attempts at field goal but somehow kept missing. Against the Cowboys they had two tries disallowed prior to Milford's field goal. Tonight, the Broncos didn't panic, they were able to regain possession and Kahu summed the situation up perfectly.

In fact, I was very pleased with the Broncos right side tonight. They were targeted heavily by the Raiders attack and restricted wave after wave of attack. Once again, Matt Gillett has cemented himself as one of the top players in the game and I think he's very close to breaking into the Broncos GOAT side. Which is no mean feat when he's got the likes of Thorn, Smith, Gillmeister, Tallis and Carroll to compete with.

Also I'm not surprised that Ben Hunt's change in form has come on the back of his defence. He came up with some important plays in defence and if he can continue to assert himself in that fashion the Broncos could give this competition a fair shake.

One of the most underrated aspects of the Broncos 2011 season was their bench. For mine, they had the best bench of any club in the competition that year and with some luck could have taken premiership #7 then and there. So far this season, the form of Ese'ese, Pangai Jr and Arrow has been incredibly pleasing and they're shaping up as key cogs for the Broncos title hopes.

While I believe there's a lot of positives to take out of this performance, let's not kid ourselves either. The Broncos left edge has been lousy, a lot of that has to do with Milford but he's receiving little support from Oates, Moga and even Thaiday goes missing on occasion. What really stood out to me was that chip and chase play from Ben Hunt and how there was absolutely nobody close to Alex Glenn and what should have been a big try coming into half-time was squandered. There were plays like that all night, players looking around, hoping for others to make the play only to be let-down and it's a big concern of mine.

WTF ???

I love Gillo irrespective of how well he performs, and he's been in great form for a long time, but geez he needs to run straight more often. Sick of seeing him crab across the field. Darbs too. It's such a bad look for our (lack of) attacking structure

Great to see our defence up under the ribs dislodging a lot a ball tonight. If only we had the attack to take advantage of it.

Good to the get the win but jebus that attack was bad. We should have blown them out of the park. It was mentioned elsewhere but how embarrassing that kahu has to kick the field goals instead of our millionaire halves.

And Milford, what is up? He needs a spell. Give benji a run, why Else did we sign him up? Hopefully that'd give Milford some motivation if he gets dropped.
Your off ya head !

I thought the Raiders were terrible tonight. How much ball did they drop? And we only won by 1. A win is a win I guess ...

That's bullshit. He's without a doubt been poor for the last 10 or so games, but it's not by lack of effort.

And the fat label is just another "factoid" people throw around to make themselves look smart. Milford has always had a typical islander body, and has never, ever looked like a trimmed low skin fold body builder type.

I don't know what's going on, but his confidence is shot and so is his x-factor. People used to jump on Hook for killing any creativity our players had, but that is exactly what is happening now with Bennett ball, where defense is awesome, but we are super boring in attack, and just expect our stars to conjure enough points to win.

This has been Bennett's signature footy for ages, just look at the Dragons and ourselves when we didn't have the god of rugby league pulling constant rabbits out of his hat, with 2015 being the exception (Walters takes most, if not all credit for that).

We may well win a premiership, because good defense wins titles. All it takes is for us to go on a run at the right time, while our stars fire up at the business end of the season, but don't expect us to be entertainers under WB. It will not happen, because we don't have a Darren Lockyer to perform magic on the field, and Milford is nowhere near acomplishing that... yet (hopefully).

All I wanted tonight was a win, the 2 points and no injuries or suspensions. Mission accomplished. All we need at the moment is to win and get the 2 points. It's still very early in the season but honestly, our attack was horrendous tonight and there are no words for how bad Milford was tonight.

Happy we got the 2 points tonight, now on to the next game.

Almost as many as Milf dropped. Sorry I'm so pissed we are losing Hunt and keeping Milf. It's always been clear which one puts in more effort.
