Bit of Math to keep your brain's functioning overnight

Still those statistics don't tell the whole story. I reckon missed tackles aren't the worst of it, Can anyone tell me how many line breaks and tries have there been when Nikorima was at 7 compared to Hunt at 7.

In the Manly game the turbo brothers used this to make a line break. Gillo moved over to help Niko and left a hole on the inside that broken turbo ran thru after an inside pass from stumpy turbo
It was actually Blair who overran the play and turbo went through the hole he left

SO what happens if we win and Milf slays them. ? Does JT come back in and Morgan gets punted or does Kevvie say thanks Milf see you next year.

Also I'm keen to see how the HIA works in Origin. I wonder if there will be more leniency. I think in time ( and as soon as next year if either team is badly affected) we will see a 6 man bench in Origin.

Depends how Morgan plays really - win or lose JT will play the next game if he's not injured.

So by the same token does Slater get game 2 even if Boyd is brilliant?

Can`t see it happening Doctors are liable for suing in years to come if a player ends up with a brain injury .

Yeah, these days Doctors and Nurses and such can get sued for just doing their job. Who is going to risk it?

I get your point, I'm always a little worried when it comes to being forced to "Protect" players, look at Gillett this season going out of his way to protect Nikorima, making a LOT of missed tackles, more than last season. It'll be the same thing in Origin, Papa & Chambers may save Milf's ass once or twice, but they won't always be able to get there in time, or alternatively they'll go out of their way to help him and leave a gap open where they would've been defending.

I hope Milf's up to it.

Locky used to need Carroll as bodyguard... But agree start with Morgan for 30 then bring in Milf and use Morgan at lock till 60th minute. Bonus with Oates in the team is can afford to carry a lighter lock after the forwards get over the intro 20 minute argy bargy. And Milford can the come on with fresh legs to create havoc and not worry so much about being targeted in defence.

Should be an extra on standby bench with HIA. Free interchange, independent doctor to assess to limit teams taking the piss for fresh legs. Not upset with origin or finals having 2 on standby given players are more likely to try to hide their injury in big games and to allow more like for like option. Also allowable if foul play causes game ending injury.

Regular games ok for 18th man, just need to avoid players becoming a permanent 18th man. Limit to once per x number of weeks (I.e 4 weeks) and they are allowed to play in state comp if possible up to 90 minutes total a weekend. Let benchies that play less than 20 minutes also go back to state comp.
