2017 Under 20's

how good our forward depth WAS
Yeah true, all we have coming through now are 2 forwards widely regarded as the best forward prospects seen in years (haas & Fifita), the youngest starting forward in our history (Sua), arguably the most exciting forward prospect in the game under 21 (TPJ), and often ex internationals or origin players sitting on the bench... yep, we're struggling... we need to buy 1 journey man prop to sure us up, that's it...

Depth is different to talent

Depth is different to talent
True... but potential talent is what we are losing (hipgrave, tuulkdhdjrb to the storm, and ese and arrow have 2 seasons under their belt so hardly seasoned campaigners) with better potentialed talent to come through..

We shouldn't get in to bidding wars until they have given us at least 2-3 years of consistent football, and even then we shouldn't for forwards who aren't match winners

The problem with our talent/depth is they are all still eligible for U20s for another 2 or 3 years. They're way too young to expect much of them in first grade.

One late change for the Brisbane Broncos.

Tristan Hope is out of this afternoon's clash. Tyson Smoothy will shift to 9 with Rory Ferguson assuming the lock role. Clayton Mack comes onto the bench in jersey #18.

We're not too far away from kick off.

Yes, the Broncos will need Cronulla to beat Newcastle on Sunday.

On one hand, the Sharks are runaway minor premiers so you'd think they'd make short work of Newcastle. But this is the 20s, so there is every possibility the Sharks don't turn up.

What's with the goal kicking, we could be ahead of them with all those conversions

Broncos kick out on the full.

Cowboys with a golden opportunity to put the Broncos away.
