Confirmation that Wayne will be coach in 2019 but not in 2020.
He is reportedly being offered a backroom position within the club that is yet to be determined.

Media may have burnt a bridge with Seibold, as he mentioned he's been pretty open with media in his rookie year, but with how all this has gone down you can see he is visibly frustrated with it all and he may not be so forthcoming in the future.

Every coach knows you can't be completely open to the media. They will take advantage of it.

Just seen presser which Fox cut short. Said WB in place for 2019. Half the NRL coaches off contract end of that season. So will take time chosing coach for 2020. No knowledge of WB being moved upstairs in 2020. Denied Siebold and Madge. Nobody asked him what would happen in WB got a contract elsewhere for 2019. Where the contingency. TBH PW looked a fool. More questions han answers. Quite obvious that Morris is pulling the strings and PW cant or will not clarify anything other than WB will not be sacked and will be coach for 2019. This circus will continue Grrrrrrrr

As much as I think we need to move on from Bennett, this is the right call.

This doesn’t need to end ugly with a sacking. Let him see out his contract and use that time to find a replacement so we aren’t rushing to find one over the off-season.

What more can he say? Media said Bennett sacked, we're getting one of the Souths coaches as a done deal. He addressed the bullshit.
