Yup, totally. One fatal flaw in QLD’s squad is Turncoat. Bloke has nothing to offer apart from a leap jump. He will be targeted relentlessly. Hope his center, back rower & half comes to his rescue every time.

They have a pretty damn good team and they’re playing terribly. There’s no excuses for why they’re playing so terribly. They shouldn’t be winning the comp at this point but absolutely should be improving and they arent
Think they might be rid of flanagans terrible contract this year and should have a fit kikau next year

Surely this is Mind games by Gould, sure you could argue at his best Nanai is a better edge than Gilbert, Mo in current form is a good addition too, but Coates over Cobbo?

He is just trolling, especially when you add his reasons for why he thinks it's the case, he legit said Coates is more productive like wtf 😂

Gould doesn't know what he's talking about re the wingers. Coates has a notoriously crap workrate whereas Cobbo consistently provides huge meters out of trouble. If Coates played for, say, the Titans instead of the storm he wouldn't be anywhere near the QLD side.

EDIT: Not even Bellamy has been able to fix the flaws in Coates' game lmao. Can't wait to see him exploited in defence.

Coz, Fatrell loves nothing but bullying. He would also have Luai & Ado Car to accompany him.

So yeah I for one, want the series wrapped up but Turncoats be bullied, bashed & exploited at every opportunity cockroach’s get.

I agree it wouldn't be good, though if we win anyway it doesn't matter.

But you do get the feeling any win by QLD and Billy will get delusions of thinking Coates genuinely belongs there over Cobbo.
who cares, qld winning is the most important thing.

Gus has always had a huge rap on Coates. When he was playing with the Broncos, he considered him one of the best players coming through and talked him up in the vein of a Latrell Mitchell/Tom Trbojevic.

Meanwhile he's always had issues with Cobbo's game. While he rates what he can do, there's issues in his game that can be targetted. He actually thought it was a blessing in disguise that he got injured in Game III for Queensland since it allowed Capewell to mark up on the Penrith connection and shored up the right side.

Then again I think the whole thing is 'an attempt at 'mind games' to really push forward the narrative that the Blues backs against the wall, hoping to inspire a Game 1 2014 effort.

Anasta is soooo salty that Tino didn't get suspended for Origin 2.
He just embarrassed himself the second night in a row.
I've never seen any show try and forensically prove a player should have been suspended.
You can bet your life if it was a NSW player nothing would be said let alone running slow mos from every angle then side by side with the Mahoney tackle.

QLD are favourites, but Fittler is a second game specialist.

He is 5 from 5 with a combined F/A of 160/42. One of those wins being at Suncorp ('21).

In saying that, four times QLD have played their second game at home after winning the first game away and only once have they lost. That was in 1998. They still went on to win the series.

The three other times QLD have wrapped up the series in Game 2 when playing in QLD. That was in 1988, 2010 and 2016.
