I think while he needed to pass the ball on a few times, he's a victim of our lack of structure. Who's directing play? Who's deciding who's running where, who's getting the ball and where the ball ends up? Macca does a lot of that especially with the forwards but the halves need to be taking charge in the 20.

Moose was just lining up where he normally does and Hunt just kept passing to him. Should he have taken upon himself to stay out the play? Probably, but that's not really his job. I know people don't like that excuse, but it's acceptable to me when a half is getting 900k to make those decisions and isn't.

McGuire isn't pushing teammates out of the way to take a settler close to the line. The halves are giving it to him because they don't seem to have any other plan and he will always put his hand up if needed.

If the entire team played with Mcguire's attitude we would be in a great position.
